Patchpelt knew that Pudgepaw couldn't remained glued to his side as she learned to hunt. So, he watched with careful yellow eyes as the young she-cat began to hunt. It seemed close to not happening, but when she found her prey she was able to kill it. When she realized what she had done, her bright and cheerful personality shined. Patchpelt released a joyous deep laugh and purred, "Very good Kiddo!"

As much as Patchpelt wan't to marvel in his housemates achievements, he also had to pull his own weight. Patchpelt knew that the prey called a Gull wondered around here. The creator could feed about 5 cats and would be a good addition to the fresh-kill pile.

Within seconds, Patchpelt was able to catch the scent of the prey he was seeking. Following the scent, he's yellow eyes locked upon their target. A white feathered birth with long oranges legs. Crouching low, the massive tom all but masked his presence.

Patchpelt charged at the bird not giving it the chance to fly away. Sinking his claws into the birds flesh, he locked it to the ground and gave a swift bite to the neck. The bird fell limp and the tom smiled. Picking the creator up, he made his way back towards his hunting party.
