"Y-Yes Mintstar, I do." Mintstar continued, "Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Pudgepaw, from this moment you will be known as Pudgenose. StarClan honors your spirit, and enthusiasm, and we welcome you as a full warrior of Nestclan." Mintstar finishes, resting her muzzle on the apprentices head, soon after, the Clan began to chant.
Pudgepaw...no, Pudgenose held her head up high as Mintstar made her pronouncements. She was waiting to feel special, different. Something. But despite the glow she felt as members chanted her new name.
She didn't think she looked any different either, but she didn't feel any less proud. "I won't let you down, Mintstar." She repeated. She wouldn't let anyone down.
Fluffy chanted his house-mate using her new warrior name. The tom recalled the moment he was given his, but recalled that it didn't mean a lot to him. His name was Fluffy, he's history was this that name. Even thought he valued the clan, Fluffy meant the most to him.
Approaching the black and white she-cat's side, he gave her a swift lick on top of her head.
"Congratulations Pudgenose. Once Honeyleaf's kits are old enough you'll surely become a mentor and you'll be able to experience the full responsibility of a warrior."
Fluffy couldn't help that those words spark excitement within the young youthful she-cat. It was one of her many charms.
Feeling his hungry hit him, the tom made his way towards the fresh-kill pile. He would be attending the gathering and couldn't have his stomach empty for the journey. Crouching down, he grabbed a chunk of the Groundhog and swiftly ate it, licking his lips when he was done.

There was no doubt about it, such a happy, tremendous day had turned to one of horror for the young warrior quickly. She shivered as rain pounded above the rockface above her - she had just taken shelter here, in no proper den, when everyone started running around. She had begged Fluffy, er Patchpelt to take her back to their nest - that she was scared. But the older tom had told her they needed to help their clan batten down first.
And in a flash of light, everything had turned.
Mintstar had fallen first - and shockingly enough the leader hadn't gotten up. Patchpelt had rushed to her side, paws skidding - but with a yowl it seemed like he had fallen too. And now two sodden forms lay in the center of camp, and Pudgenose desperately hoped that her eyes were decieving her. She squinted her eyes shut, hoping against hope that, when she opened them up again, this would all be changed.
Maybe Patchpelt would even come to her and nudge her awake. Remind her that everything was alright.
It had felt like she had barely gotten out of kittenhood when she had first become an apprentice. She remembered happy times when she was still in the nursery. But, shortly after she became an apprentice, the first part of the storm had struck, and her mother had been one of the first to die. Death was pretty new to her, and, when her father first explained it to her, she remembered not knowing what to think, believing death was only temporary. But, her mother still wasn't back, and now a part of her felt empty and sad inside. Though she tried not to think about it, it would be a long time before she got over it, if she ever did.
As she stepped out of one of the apprentice dens, she noticed something odd. Was that-? It was! It was Pudgenose, laying down and sleeping in the grass, while it was raining and thundering. And, it didn't seem to wake her up at all. Frowning, she went over to Pudgenose, and tried to shake her awake with her forepaw. "Pudgenose? Pudgenose, wake up! Are you having a bad dream...?"
(You alright with this approach to your post, Kat?)
Arriving in Nestclan camp, Opossum in his mouth, Tigerblaze sets it into the freshkill pile, then looks around. Spotting Pudgenose on the ground, and Creampaw trying to wake her up. Frowning, he goes over to them, and looks down at his former apprentice. Then, he shakes his head with a heavy sigh. "She's probably dreaming about what happened." He tried nudging her with his nose. "Pudgenose, it's alright. It's over now, you can wake up."
